Statement of the "Freedom & Equality Loving Students" in Mazendaran University on the current situation as cited below:

On Saturday April 14, Bijan Sabagh, a student in the engineering school at the University of Mazandaran was kidnapped by unidentified security agents in front of the university.
Mr. Sabagh had previously been suspended from university for one term following the latest events at the university.
As of today, there is no news on Mr. Sabagh. Three students at the university, who were also disciplined following these latest events, have joined another 14 students to stage a sit-in to protest Mr.Sabagh's disappearance. There three students are staging a three-day hunger strike following their recent disciplinary verdict.
Further events unfolded on the night of Saturday April 14. A mob of unidentified men invaded the university and started attacking students, taking them to unknown locations.
The names of those individuals kidnapped are as follows:
Amid Moshref zade, Ali Tagipor, Homans Homan Sharifirad, Ali Kiani, Ramin Ajorlo, Mehrn Ziabakhsh Siavash Naeimi, Ziae Nabavi, Nejatollah Afshar,Alireza Kelarestagy, Paiman Aliasi, Joted Mishafi, Mehdi Sharifeldin, Saeed Yagobinejad.
One of those kidnapped was found beaten 40 kilometers outside the city.
The situation of the University of Mazandaran, located in two large cities of Babol and Babol sar is extremely unsettled. The University is still under watch by the armed forces of the government of Iran. The students of the same University are under constant watch. The management of the University has refused to take any responsibility and have not reacted to his situation.
If this situation is allowed to continue it will not be resolved and will become a problem at all universities in Iran. We also indicate if they do not review and take action to our requests as listed below, the situation will escalate.
1. Release of every student that has been arrested
2. Expiration of convictions of the released
3. Call back all the armed forces at all universities
4. The request of an explanation or position from management of the university
